Can my phone work as a speaker and microphone at the same time?
Yes. CastSound is designed around listening to your computer and speaking through your phone in one connection.
Do both devices need the same Wi-Fi?
That is the simplest setup. USB tethering can also provide a steadier direct connection.
Does CastSound record my conversations?
CastSound does not intentionally record or keep your audio. Audio is sent to the device you connect to while the connection is active.
Why does CastSound request microphone access?
The permission is used only when you choose to send microphone sound to a connected computer.
What if my device is not discovered?
You can scan the code shown on the computer, enter its local address, or follow the connection troubleshooting guide.
